We all know that hackers are one of the most talented people when it comes to breaking internet security and strengthening internet security but some people are being hesitant on whether are not these people are worthy of being hired.
Some people compare hiring hackers to hiring burglars to be your security guards. Yes, it may seem pretty risky especially when these people know many things about criminal acts but even if we deny it or not, they are one of the bests in their league. If you hire a burglar to protect your home, no burglar can come in your house since your current security guard (who is a burglar himself) knows the tricks and the inside outs of the craft of stealing. He’ll know the perfect spots burglars might enter and guard those spots specifically. This situation is very similar to hiring hackers.
Hackers have trained themselves to hack, with the term “hack” said comes negative implications. There’s no way hacking cannot be bad, it is bad the word in itself but what makes you need to hire a hacker? You need a hacker to protect your system from other hackers. They all know the bits and way ins on computer programs and cyber space. If you don’t want to be hacked, you should know the secrets of hackers and if you can’t execute with the knowledge you gained you can’t move forward.
Even if you know how hackers work there are skills that only hackers can relate to. Aside from skill, you should also know the ethics and attitude of the hacker you are working with. Yes, hackers hack and with that thought they already cannot be trusted. However, not all hackers hack their own ally, some people hack their enemies for their allies. You do not want your website or account to be hacked by your own hired employee so make sure to do a personality check before taking in any employee that has a slight negative background.
Even virus makers are invited to work at very big antivirus companies. The irony makes things work if there is trust and right compensation. Rather than battling out with them, work with them. As they say, keep your friends close and your enemies closer. It all depends on you if you are brave enough to risk hiring yourself a hacker.
